The Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, Foundation and Interfraternal community mourn the loss of Ralph D. “Dud” Daniel, Arizona ’47, affectionately referred to as “Mr. Phi Psi”. Known for his unwavering love for the fraternal movement and his dedication to bettering the lives of young men, Dud was not only a volunteer, leader and a brother but embodied the true meaning of the term “gentleman”.

As the Fraternity and interfraternal community mourn the passing of Brother Daniel we stop and remember him and his legacy. A selfless volunteer, a charismatic leader, an infectious storyteller and, of course, a compassionate and loyal brother Dud will be missed by many.

 



The Ralph “Dud” Daniel Leadership Award recognizes a member who has made outstanding leadership contributions to his chapter, campus and community. The award, named in honor of Executive Director Emeritus Ralph D. "Dud" Daniel, Arizona ’47, is revered as the most prestigious national scholarship offered.
