Founded in 1948, Oregon Beta has initiated nearly 700 men into the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. The chapter has called 140 NW 13th Street home since 1959 until recently when the facility's boiler exploded rendering the structure inhabitable. Since the disaster in late 2008, the house corporation has been working diligently to chart an aggressive, yet attainable path toward building a new facility. The proposed chapter house will be a state-of-the-art living environment that combines the foremost in green building techniques and technology with the necessary conveniences required by today's collegians.
